Healthy Detox Diet Foods

A detox should be short and to the point. It will include a selection of detox diet foods or one in isolation, whether it's being used for weight loss, a cleansing process or to simply have more energy.

Its primary goal is to eliminate all the chemicals, environmental and dietary toxins from your system and it does this by eliminating heavily processed, fatty, sugary or alcohol based foods and drinks.

You'll often use one or two specific detox diet foods to focus on for a few days and then gradually introduce your old foods back in.

Ideally you'd maintain a healthy and balanced diet afterwards, but most simply return to the old way of eating and completely neglect the healthy detox diet foods that got them feeling so good in the first place.
